Mr DEVINE (EAST SYDNEY, NEW SOUTH WALES) - I direct a question to the Minister for Civil Aviation. By way of preface I would like to bring to his notice the fact that Viscount aircraft operated by Trans-Australia Airlines and Ansett-A.N.A. have their Bendix radar instruments out of commission for SO per cent, of the time in which they are flying. Will the Minister conduct an inquiry into this matter to ascertain whether any breach of civil aviation safety regulations is involved, and will he have all aircraft carrying this equipment grounded unless the instruments are fully operative?
