Mr STOKES (Maribyrnong) .- I merely want to say that I support, and wholeheartedly endorse, the remarks of my colleague from Sturt (Mr. Wilson), and will take similar action. I am only sorry that we divided before and not on what is really the issue in the whole of part V dealing with compulsory registration. I am also sorry to have to say that the Attorney-General (Mr. Snedden) has not satisfied me that compulsory registration will improve the Bill. I think that the Bill is a good one and that it should go through, but I submit that the compulsory registration provisions are a detriment to the Bill, and I will vote accordingly.

Clause, as amended, agreed to.

Proposed new clause 43a.
