Mr CHANEY (PERTH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA) - My question to the Minister for Territories is supplementary to the question that was asked by the honorable member for Wide Bay. If wholesale restrictions were placed upon the importation of plywood from New Guinea, would not this be a serious blow to that industry in New Guinea? Would it not indirectly contribute to slowing up the development of New Guinea and retard the establishment finally of a self-governing community?
