Mr TURNER (BRADFIELD, NEW SOUTH WALES) - My question, which is directed to the Treasurer, relates to the deductibility for tax purposes of certain interest payments made by companies. The right honorable gentleman will, of course, be aware of the uncertainty prevailing in the business world in regard to the making of plans for raising capital pending an announcement by the Government of the terms of its proposed legislation in this matter. Can it be expected that by, say, the end of the second week after the House resumes its sitting subsequent to the Easter recess - that is, by about 20th April - the Minister will be able to make to the House a full statement on this matter?
