Mr CLEAVER (SWAN, WESTERN AUSTRALIA) - My question is addressed to the Minister for Health. Is the honorable gentleman in a position to confirm that a partially blind British migrant pensioner who, before leaving the United Kingdom, received free medical treatment, can find himself ineligible for the benefits of the pensioner medical service in this country owing to the Australian means test and the 1955 rule? If this is so, will the Minister endeavour to have this anomaly rectified?
