Mr ROBERTON (RIVERINA, NEW SOUTH WALES) (Minister for Social Services) - I should like very much to do whatever lies within my power to accede to any request made to me by the honorable member for West Sydney, but in this instance, with a sense of regret, I have to say that I could not support his proposal. I would do nothing to reduce the number of homes for the aged being built throughout the Commonwealth, and the honorable member's proposal would have the effect of reducing the number by at least one-half.
