Mr WEBB (STIRLING, WESTERN AUSTRALIA) - I draw the attention of the Prime Minister to the fact that over twelve months ago an all-party committee of the Parliament of Western Australia put forward a number of proposals in connexion with the development of the north-west of that State, including a proposal for the construction of a dam on the Ord River, road development, extended port facilities and a subsidy for ship construction. In September, 1955, 1 asked the Prime Minister whether he was in a position to comment on the proposals, and I raised the matter again in September of this year. I now ask the right honorable gentleman again: Is he in a position to reply to the requests of the allparty committee of the Parliament of Western Australia?
