Mr MCMAHON - The House will be aware that the Government decided to distribute the balance of the moneys held in trust pending the decision by the High Court as to whether leave to appeal against its decision in the Poulton case would be given. Action has already been taken to distribute the money, as it was thought by the Commonwealth Crown Law officers that there was a justifiable risk in anticipating the court's decision. I understand that at 10 o'clock this morning the High Court decided not to grant leave to appeal.
