Mr NELSON (NORTHERN TERRITORY, NORTHERN TERRITORY) - The question that 1 direct to the Minister for Supply is based upon current reports that the Prime Minister will visit the Northern Territory to perform the official opening; of the treatment plant at the Rum Jungle uranium mine on the 17th September. As the Rum Jungle project is a national undertaking, and as the development and treatment of its deposits, on the scale that will be involved will mark the emergence of Australia as one of the world's major producers of uranium, will the Minister consider inviting an all-party parliamentary delegation to visit the Northern Territory to witness and take part in the ceremony ?
