Mr COSTA (BANKS, NEW SOUTH WALES) - About two years ago a committee was set up by the Public Service Board to investigate the status, salary, hours and general conditions of the instructional staff of Postal Department training schools. The committee functioned under the chairmanship of Mr. Eltham, and there were about 90 officers concerned with investigations. Pending the committee's report, the union that represents the officers postponed making claims to the Public Service Arbitrator. Has the Public Service Board or the Government considered the report of the committee and, if so, is there likely to be an early decision on its findings?
