Mr ARCHIE CAMERON (Barker) . - I should like the Minister for Post-war Reconstruction (Mr. Dedman) to explain what the Government's position would be if, as provided by the Constitution, it paid all its surplus revenues to the States at the end of each financial year. I have in mind the large surpluses which this Government has paid into trust accounts in order to avoid making payments to the States which are their just due under the Constitution. Has the Minister anything to say on that aspect?

Mr Dedman - As I should not be in order in dealing with surplus revenues at this stage, I suggest that the honorable member raise that point with me privately.

Bill agreed to.
