Mr ARCHIE CAMERON (BARKER, SOUTH AUSTRALIA) (Postmaster-General) -I ask the Prime Minister whether the Government is aware that penicillin has become an important drug in veterinary science, especially in the treatment of mastitis in dairy cattle? Are the Commonwealth Serum Laboratories capable of meeting the penicillin requirements for both medical and veterinary purposes ? If not, will the Prime Minister consider allowing the importation, duty free, of sufficient penicillin to meet the requirements of veterinary surgeons throughout Australia?
