Mr DRAKEFORD (MARIBYRNONG, VICTORIA) (Minister for Air) - I understand that the Tuggerah air strip is one of a number of air strips which were utilized by the Royal Australian Air Force during the war. I have no information as to whether it is intended to discontinue using it, or whether the gravel on the runway is to be taken away. I shall make inquiries in order to see whether the strip can be used by aircraft to bring early beans and other vegetables to market. I shall give sympathetic consideration to the honorable member's request.
