Mr ROSEVEAR - Recently the Minister for the Army stated that nu Australian youth would be sent to a battle station without proper training. I hav, had the details put before me of the case of a lad who was in camp for only six weeks and who had had only two days on a rifle range, being included in the Darwin detail. I therefore ask the Minister for the Army whether he made his statement merely to allay the anxieties of honorable members, or whether, when he made it, he also issued an order to the military authorities to that effect? If such an instruction was issued, is the Minister's order being disobeyed by some of his underlings?
