Mr NAIRN (Perth) .- Seeing that the wages board system is operating in Tasmania where this new industry will be located I can see no reason for the inclusion of a provision of this description. The employees engaged in the industry may surely be trusted to look after their own interests and, if necessary, to obtain an award from a States Wages Board to cover their calling.

Proposed new clause negatived.

Preamble and title agreed to.

Bill reported with an amendment; report adopted.
