Mr THORBY - At the present time, passengers arriving by flying boat at Darwin have to land at the only place available, namely that which is used by all passengers, whether they arrive by air or sea. The department is improving the landing facilities, however, and additional steps are being constructed and a wooden shelter erected so that passengers' may land in comfort even when the sea is choppy.
