Mr WARD (EAST SYDNEY, NEW SOUTH WALES) - Some weeks ago I asked whether the Government would give consideration to an amendment of the Invalid and Old-age Pensions Act, to extend to Australian aborigines rights similar to those enjoyed by other members of the community, and the Prime Minister assured me that the Government would give consideration to the request. Has the matter yet been considered? If so, what is the decision of the Government?
