Mr GREGORY (Swan) .- I move -

That the words " approved by the Minister " be omitted with a view to insert in lieu thereof the word " prescribed ".

I want to throw upon the Government and not upon the commission the responsibility for the form in which the commission's balance-sheet is presented. If the amendment is agreed to the Government will prescribe by regulation the form of the balance-sheet of the commission, and if Parliament is dissatisfied it can express its disapproval.

Mr Fenton - I accept the amendment.

Clause 35 -

The income, property and operations of the commission shall not be subject to any rates, taxes or charges under any law of the Commonwealth or a State to which the Commonwealth is not subject.
