Mr LYONS - The answers to the honorable member's questions are as follow : -

1.   Judge Lukin stated that he was agreeable to the publication of the correspondence in his case provided that simultaneously the whole of the correspondence passing between the federal judges (High Court, Bankruptcy Court, and Arbitration "Court) and the Commonwealth Government was also published.

2.   I would refer the honorable member to my reply to his question on the 18th February last.

3.   No. Section 72 of the Constitution provides that the remuneration of justices of the High Court and of the courts created by the Parliament shall not be diminished during their continuance in office.
