Mr LYONS - On the 18th February, the honorable member for Angas (Mr. Gabb) asked whether a time limit had been imposed within which applications by necessitous bondholders for the redemption of their securities should be made. I have now to say that, when issuing the original instructions in connexion with the scheme for relief of cases of hardship under the conversion scheme, it was decided that all applications should be lodged not later than the 31st March, 1932. These instructions, however, including the time limit referred to, are now under review with the object of liberalizing the whole scheme.
