Mr KILLEN (RIVERINA, NEW SOUTH WALES) asked the Prime Minister, upon notice -

1.   Whether the Government has come to any decision with regard to the recommendation of the special expert officer of the Auditor-General's Department, supported by the Public Accounts Committee, that £26,11219s.5d. should be paid as compensation to the broadcasting companies whose licences were cancelled by the Government?

2.   If it has been decided to pay the amount, when will payment be made?
