Mr PARKER MOLONEY (HUME, NEW SOUTH WALES) - I want the matter to be made quite clear. The Prime Minister said the total amount represented a sum of about £13,000,000. The impression might easily be gained throughout the country that that was the total sum to be distributed. Can the Prime Minister say what period that total covers ?

Mr Hughes - I have already said it.

Mr PARKER MOLONEY (HUME, NEW SOUTH WALES) - But the Prime Minister followed it up by saying that after that date, since the wool was of inferior grade, there would be a debit.

Mr Hughes - The fact is that nobody takes the slightest notice of what anybody else says in this Chamber.

Mr PARKER MOLONEY (HUME, NEW SOUTH WALES) - That is not so. The trouble is that the Prime Minister has too many honorable members endeavouring to explain the position for him.
