Mr FENTON - Then surely Mr. Speaker's ruling was absolutely wrong. If members value their privileges, I look for votes from the Government side and from the Country party in support of . the motion. Otherwise . our future proceedings will he very seriously handicapped in the discussion of many questions which shouldbe brought . before the House. I will put up a fight !before I permit myself to he deprived of privileges I am supposed to enjoy as one of the mouthpieces of the people. There have -been quite enough miscarriages of justice in the past.
