The CHAIRMAN - There is already before us an amendment which must first be disposed of. The amendment before us is to insert after the word " proof " the words " matured by storage in wood for a period of not less than two years."

Mr POYNTON - I am in sympathy: with the amendment proposed by the honorable member for Bland, and desire to do nothing to interfere with its' passing, so long as I shall have an opportunity resubmit the proposal I have indicated.
