Mr GROOM (Darling Downs) (Minister of Home Affairs) - The object of the clause is to enable the Commonwealth to make arrangements with other countries providing that persons registered there may, by application, obtain priority here. The provision is practically a reprint of that in the English Act, and of a section of our Patents Act.
