Senator LAUCKE (South Australia) - I express to the Minister for Primary Industry (Senator Wriedt) my appreciation for the courtesy which he extended to me this morning when an officer of his Department discussed with me the proposed consequential or necessary amendments following the amendment which was passed in this place last week. It removed the mandatory and very arbitrary provision in respect of forfeiture. I believe that these amendments which fit in with the amendment which we sought last week could be taken collectively as the Minister has suggested. Again I thank the Minister for the courtesy which he has extended in this matter.
