Senator Carrick asked the Attorney-General, upon notice:

(1)   What incidents allegedly involving the activities of Yugoslav terrorists have occurred in Australia since the Whitlam Government took office?

(2)   Were such incidents reported in the press?

Senator Murphy - I am advised that the answer to the honourable senator's question is as follows:

(   1 ) and (2) About the time of the visit of the Yugoslav Prime Minister to Australia, threats were made against the lives of the Yugoslav Prime Minister, Australian Ministers and other persons. Other activities of terrorists have been dealt with in evidence published by the Senate Select Committee on Civil Rights of Migrant Australians. Some of these activities have been reported in the press.
