Senator MILLINER (QUEENSLAND) - I direct my question to the Minister representing the Prime Minister. In view of the concern expressed by the Deputy Leader of the Opposition, Senator Greenwood, in relation to the appointment of Mr Young to the staff of the Prime Minister, can the Minister inform the Senate whether it is a fact that the Attorney-General in the McMahon Government, Senator Greenwood, employed on his personal staff a gentleman who is a State executive member and office-bearer of the Young Liberals organisation in Victoria.

Senator MURPHY -I regret that I am not able to answer the honourable senator's question. Perhaps these questions about Mr Young will have the healthy result of having all senators engage in some research into the matter.
