Senator KEEFFE - I ask the Chairman of the Senate Standing Committee on Social Environment whether he can inform the Parliament of the action which the Committee proposes to take in its investigation of the Postmaster-General's Department's installations on Black Mountain in the Australian Capital Territory. Can he inform the Parliament whether further inspections will be carried out by his Committee and whether witnesses will be examined?

Senator LAUCKE (SOUTH AUSTRALIA) - An inspection of the site of the proposed telecommunications tower on Black Mountain will be made today fortnight if we can arrange it for that time. It has not been decided whether evidence will be taken after that.
