The PRESIDENT -Before I ask whether leave is granted, I would be grateful if I could receive an indication of their attitude from the Acting Leader of the Government in the Senate (Senator Drake-Brockman) and the Leader of the Opposition (Senator Murphy).

Senator Drake-Brockman - I agree.

Senator Willesee - I have no knowledge of this but I am assured by Senator Byrne that he has arranged the matter with Senator Murphy so 1 have no objection.

The PRESIDENT - Is leave granted? There being no objection, leave is granted.
