Senator MULVIHILL asked the Minister representing the Minister for Labour and National Service, upon notice:

(1)   Was Mr Ivica Kokic ever in charge of the Commonwealth Employment Office in Sunshine; if so, was he transferred to Melbourne due to his discrimination against non-Croat Yugoslav migrants.

(2)   What is Mr Kokic's present position with the Department of Labour and National Service and what are his duties.

Senator WRIGHT-The Minister for Labour and National Service has provided the following answer to the honourable senator's question:

(1)   No.

(2)   Mr Kokicis at present the District Officer at the Prahran, Victoria, District Employment Office. He is responsible for the efficient functioning of that Office of the Commonwealth Employment Service.
