Senator POKE (TASMANIA) - My question is directed to the Minister representing the Minister for Primary Industry. I refer to my question yesterday about statistics produced by the Reserve Bank, showing that the wool deficiency payment scheme is benefiting banks and the big pastoral finance companies more than the wool growers. In view of the urgency of this question, has the Minister yet had an opportunity to study the figures, and can he give me an answer today?

Senator DRAKE-BROCKMAN - I am having a study made of the figures. I am not sure at this stage whether I can give an answer today, but after question time I will make inquiries and advise the honourable senator thereof.
