Senator COTTON (New South WalesMinister for Civil Aviation) - in reply -I thank the Opposition and my colleague Senator Poke for the ready facilitation of the passage of the Customs Tariff Bill (No. 2). What the honourable senator said is quite correct. This is a case where we are jointly involved in stopping an abuse of misappropriation or the stealing of revenue belonging to all people. Accordingly I welcome the support of the Opposition. I suggest that we proceed to the third reading.

Question resolved in the affirmative.

Bill read a second time, and passed through its remaining stages without amendment or debate.
