Senator HANNAN (VICTORIA) - I direct to the Minister for Civil Aviation a question which I preface by referring to the Minister's statement that the Government is about to spend £4 million on Sydney's international airport. Without in any way criticising the expenditure on Sydney's airport, as I realise that Sydney is a city of no inconsiderable consequence in Australia, I ask the Minister for an assurance that no expenditure at Mascot will delay the completion of Tullamarine jetport at Melbourne - the city which all honorable senators on both sides of the chamber concede to be the social, cultural, economic and political heart of Australia.
