Senator DUNCAN (NEW SOUTH WALES) .- Prior to 30th June, -watches, clocks and chronometers were,, grouped, and the general Tariff was 45 per cent, ad val. Owing to amendments made in another place.. " clocks n.e.i. " are now dutiable at 45 per cent., while - upon watches and chronometers the general Tariff' is only 30 per cent.
