Senator WILSON (SOUTH AUSTRALIA) asked the Minister representing the Prime Minister, upon notice -

1.   Has the attention of the Minister been drawn to the statement by the Premier of South Australia appearing in the press that producers cannot get shipping space to theEast?

2.   Has the Federal Government received any request from the South Australian Government for space?

3.   Should the tonnage he sufficient, could not the Government handlesame without delay?

4.   Is it not a fact that the Federal Government have ships idle inthe Sydney Harbor at the present?

5.   Is it the policy or practice of the Federal Government to differentiate between the States?
