Senator FOSTER (Tasmania) .-As the Minister says, theprovision in the Naval Defence Act, of which this clause is a copy, refers to the disbandment of a unit, but I know of no provision in that Act whereby a member of the Forces may be summarily dismissed by the Naval Board without trial. It is a one-sided arrangement that a man who enlists in the Air Force, and serves until he is thirty years of age may be discharged without trial or without any charge being levelled against him.
