Senator Gardiner - Will the Minister state to what stage he intends to carry the Bill this morning?

Senator PEARCE - I shall ask the Senate to adopt the reports, and to make the motion for the third reading of the Bill an Order of the Day for a later hour of the day. My promise was that we would retain possession of the Bill until the Air Defence Bill had been dealt with.

Question resolved in the affirmative.
