Senator MILLEN (New South Wales) . - I am quite willing to adopt the course which has been suggested by Senator Keating, because I think that it is full of merit.

Proposed new clause, by leave, withdrawn.

Clause 12 agreed to.

Clause 13 -

Section ninety-nine of the principal Act is repealed, and the following section inserted in its stead : - " 99. Nominations may be in the prescribed form applicable to the case and shall -

(a)   Name the candidate, his place of residence and occupation, and

(b)   Be signed by not less than six persons entitled to vote at the election for which the candidate is nominated."
