Senator PEARCE (Western AustraliaMinister of Defence) . - When the scale of provisions in the case of British' ships registered in Australia and British ships engaged in the coasting trade was under consideration this afternoon, attention was drawn to the fact that no quantity of water was specified in the first column of that scale. Having given the matter consideration, I move -

That the following footnote to "Water" be added : (a) Full and plenty, of good quality without waste.

These are the terms ordinarily used in agreements in respect of the supply of water.
