Mr Clyde Cameron (HINDMARSH, SOUTH AUSTRALIA) asked the Minister for Labour and National Service, upon notice:

(I)   What has the Government done to study or update and standardise the relevant laws on industrial safety in the Commonwealth as a means towards reducing the cost of life, compensation claims and lost man-weeks caused by industrial accidents in Australia each year.

Mr Snedden - The answer to the honourable member's question is the same as that given in reply to Question No. 417.
