Mr MCMAHON (LOWE, NEW SOUTH WALES) (Minister for External Affairs) - The first part of the honourable gentleman's question relating to South African airlines raises a matter that concerns South Africa and the Sanctions

Committee of the Security Council and does not directly involve the Australian Government.

Mr Whitlam - But they have offices in Australia.

Mr MCMAHON - I will have a look at that aspect of it for the Leader of the Opposition. So far as its extra-territorial activities are concerned, I have no intention of poking my nose into the business of other countries. So far as advertising by Qantas is concerned, I am not aware of the position: I will make inquiries about it and let the honourable member know the results of the inquiries.
