Mr HANSEN (WIDE BAY, QUEENSLAND) - I address a question to the Attorney-General. Is there any limitation on the amount of money that can be taken out of the country?

Mr Kelly - Is the honorable member thinking of leaving the country?

Mr HANSEN - If I took what money I have out of the country, there would be nothing to worry about. What precautions are takes to prevent large sums of money from being taken out of Australia? I refer not only to recent reports that quantities of the new decimal currency are being taken out of the country but also to a case which I referred to the AttorneyGeneral recently concerning a couple who left for England, taking with them an estimated £20,000, being payment for telephone microphone attachments for tha delivery of which they purported to have the approval of the Postmaster-General and which were never delivered.
