Mr DALY (GRAYNDLER, NEW SOUTH WALES) - I direct a question to the Prime Minister. Is he aware that the former Prime Minister stated that Australia is at war in Vietnam? If he is, does he still maintain that Australia is not at war? If so, how can he compare his decision to conscript national service trainees for service abroad when Australia is not at war with the decision made in the 1939-45 conflict when Australia was at war and threatened with Japanese invasion shortly after the Liberal Government of which he was a member was voted out of office by its own supporters?
