Mr WHITTORN (BALACLAVA, VICTORIA) - My question is addressed to the Minister for Shipping and Transport. In view of the uncertainty that still exists about standardisation of the rail gauge between Broken Hill in New South Wales and Cockburn in South Australia, will the Minister state whether the Silverton Tramway Co. will play any part in this project? Does the Minister know that this uncertainty and lack of decision have placed an unfair burden on this public company to its disadvantage and to the disadvantage of the shareholders?
