Sir ROBERT MENZIES - As I came into the House, I was told that this somewhat mysteriously referred to gentleman had written an article for a newspaper called the "Australian". As I do not happen to be a reader of that newspaper, I have not read his article. I inquired whether this gentleman had been an officer of the Department of External Affairs and found that he had been a first secretary in the service of the Department. He had never had any association with Vietnam matters or access to Vietnam information; his activities lay in other directions. He resigned some time ago. I do not know why, but I need hardly add that he is now with the Australian National University.
