Mr NELSON (NORTHERN TERRITORY, NORTHERN TERRITORY) - My question to the Prime Minister arises out of the setting up of a select committee of this House to inquire into the voting rights of Australian aborigines in relation to the Commonwealth Parliament. I ask the right honorable gentleman: In view of the fact that the Government feels that the best way to resolve urgent problems of this nature is through an all-party select committee, will he indicate whether he is willing to extend the terms of reference of this select committee or, alternatively, appoint a further all-party select committee to inquire into the voting and civil rights of all residents of the Northern Territory in respect of selfgovernment within the Northern Territory and, further, in respect of their representatation in the Commonwealth Parliament, where at both levels their rights are restricted at present?
