Dr Donald Cameron (OXLEY, QUEENSLAND) - The honorable gentleman has really asked me a very curious question. Does he mean that if a doctor or, indeed, a scientist, who Happens to be a public servant, issues a statement that is judged to be commercially undesirable or, even worse, politically unpalatable, publication should therefore be suppressed? Of course, Mr. Speaker, that is exactly what the honorable gentleman's question does mean. Is that the policy of the party which sits opposite? lt is not the political philosophy of members on this side of the House.
