Mr HAROLD HOLT (HIGGINS, VICTORIA) (Minister for Labour and National Service) . - I move -

That the House, at its rising, adjourn until a date and hour to be fixed by Mr. Speaker, which lime of meeting shall be notified by Mr. Speaker to each member by telegram or letter.

As honorable gentlemen will be aware, this is the customary motion that is proposed when we come to the end of a sessional period. On this occasion, however, it must be taken as subject to the assurance given earlier by the Prime Minister that, should circumstances make it desirable for the House to bc summoned again at short notice, that action will be taken.

Question resolved in the affirmative.
