Mr CHIFLEY - There has been no change of the Government's policy in relation to this matter. It is true that some time ago an arrangement was made with the State Government for a committee to inquire into the circumstances of dairyfarmers in the milk zone who had suffered as the result of drought or dry weather conditions. Costs of production in the dairying industry have been made the subject of a number of inquiries and are constantly under review by the Prices Commissioner. However, I shall consider the representations made by the honorable member.
